Description

This model was built near to scale within actual general dimensions. The propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear and landing gear doors are animateable. The model is fully textured and is available in several different formats.

The Convair C-131 Samaritan was an American military transport produced from 1954 to 1956 by Convair. It was the military version of the Convair CV-240. The earlier trainer model, designated the T-29, was also based on the Convair 240 and was used to instruct USAF navigators for all USAF aircraft. It was active with the US Air Force, US Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and other nations military services until the early 1980s. Many were sold as surplus into private use.
