Description

Douglas DC-7C was built near to scale by actual dimensions and in some good detail. Control surfaces are animateable including flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder. Landing gear, landing gear doors and propellers are also animateable. A full double row radial engine is modeled in the cowlings and animateable cowling flaps are also modeled. In addition this model comes in a wide variety of formats.

The Douglas DC-7 is an American transport aircraft built by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1953 to 1958. DC-7C Seven Seas Improved long-range variant with a non-stop transatlantic capability, improved engines and increased fuel capacity mainly in longer wings, 121 were built. It served well into the end of the 20th century. A few are still flying and many are being restored by museums and private owners.
