Summary

This isn't done yet (I still need to add connectors for hoses and to attach each tray to the frame of the aquaponic garden), but it's a proof of concept of a printable tray with integrated bell siphon. This grow bed is big enough to hold some decent sized plants, but totally printable on a Replicator 1 build platform.

I design things in my free time, just for fun. If you like my stuff, send me some DOGE. It'll totally make my day! Thank you.

Instructions

1: Print as many of these as you would like grow beds in your aquaponics setup, in opaque PLA (algae growth = fail), and at 8 shells. Make sure these things are waterproof!
2: Place each bell into the little slot provided for it.
3: Fill each grow bed with expanded clay spheres.
4: Hook up an input hose to the first tray, which will carry water pumped up from the fish tank(s).
5: Stack the trays so that the drain from one becomes the input for the next.
6: You've got yourself some grow beds! Cycle your system a few times, and then get some plants in there!
