Rig-Free Animation (Shape Keys)
To keep the file light and performant, these butterflies use Shape Keys instead of complex bone rigs. You can blend between 7 different states to create organic, fluttering movement:
- Basis: Perfectly flat.
- Up: Wings folded upward.
- Down: Wings folded downward.
- Closed: Wings shut tight.
- Right Turn: Single wing tilt for banking maneuvers.
- Left Turn: Single wing tilt for banking maneuvers.
- OhNo: A crumpled state for when the butterfly is hit or resting.
