Technically it functions as a collimator/prismatic sight with a reticle meant to be similar in practical use to Western holographic sights, although Russian designations sometimes blur the distinction between prismatic and true holographic optics. The optic offers brightness settings for use with night vision devices. The sight’s adjustments allow windage and elevation changes, and it can be mounted on standard Picatinny or Russian-style side rails with appropriate adapters.
