Notes:

  1. This model was created by carefully studying image references, videos and books on equine anatomy. Although great effort was put to make it accurate, please be advised that this model MAY NOT be 100% anatomically correct.
  2. This model is a HIGH poly decimated mesh (100% triangles).
  3. Version 2.2 has all the bones with Zbrush subdivision levels. The lowest subdivision was made with Zremesh.

------------UPDATE-------------

I have uploaded version 2.0 of this model with the following addition:

In addition to the super highpoly mesh (4.5 million polygons), I have added another version specially optimized for 3d printing.

This version has quite less polygons (1.5 Million) so it is a little more friendly to some 3D print services such as. However, it still retains a good amout of detail.

This version is in scale 1:1, so you will have to scale it down according to your needs.

The original highpoly model can also be used for 3d printing, since all the bones are watertight or manifold, that is, they have no holes. However, some additional editing may be needed.

In the 3d-print version I also added bone connectors or cartilages between the bones, so when you print it, it doesn't fall apart and the bones stay together as a single part.

You can modify the position of the bones and cartilages to achive any pose that you want.I also modified a little the shape of some of the vertebrae, so they had a better structural resistance. Also I hollowed the skull so it doesn't use that much material.

------------IMPORTANT--------------

Depending on the size and pose that you are going to print the model, you may need to do some additional editing in a 3D Software to adjust it to your printer max size and material requirements. For example you may need to make some parts thicker, add support sprues, split parts, etc.

Thank you!!
