For the Revell 1/25 62 Chevy Impala Hard Top (Revell-14466), if you wish to create the model with doors to open.

Insert the frame so that the hinges are completely visible from the edge of the front fender. At the bottom, the edge of the frame should align with the car body.When the frame is mounted, the door hinge is inserted to the frame.Tape the door in positioned exactly as desired. Glue the hinge to the door from the inside. Afterwards, the door can be removed so that the backing can be adjusted.

The doors can be removed after everything has been fixed, for further adjustment.

A little adjustment is to be expected, but otherwise easy to go for.
