Very high quality digital sculpture of a Wolf Skull.
General Features:
- Includes the highpoly sculpted model in Zbrush, with subdivision levels and UVs.
- Includes also high density Decimated meshes that can be used for 3D printing (see notes). There is a version with each tooth as an individual object, and another version with the teeth merged with the bone.
- Includes LowRes meshes with UVs (lowest subdivision level.)
- Sculpted in real life scale 1:1.
Included Files & Formats:
.ZTL (Zbrush 2019.1.2) Sculpted meshes with subdivision levels. All meshes with UVs. (15.9 million points)
.OBJ - High density Decimated meshes. With teeth as separated meshes. Each tooth as an individual object. (2.8 million triangles)
.OBJ - High density Decimated meshes. Upper Teeth merged with cranium, and lower teeth merged with mandible. (1.9 million triangles)
.OBJ & .FBX - LowRes Meshes. Lowest subdivision Level of the meshes with UVs and Material IDs. (60.420 Quad polys)
Notes:
- The model does NOT have textures, and is not rigged.
- The Decimated versions don’t have UVs.
- This model was created by carefully studying image references of wolf skulls. Although a great effort was made to make it accurate, this model MAY NOT be 100% anatomically correct. It is NOT a 3D scan.
- This model was created with Zbrush version 2019.1.2. In case you are using an older version of Zbrush, you can import the Decimated and LowRes Meshes to your version of Zbrush, and re-project the details, you practically won’t lose any detail.
- The LowRes meshes were created using Zbrush’s Zremesh for automatic retopology.
- The preview images were rendered and created only to showcase the model. The provided files do not include any lighting or rendering setup, only the 3d models.
- You are not buying a right to use the preview images.
3D printing Notes:
The OBJ Decimated versions can be used for 3d printing, since all the bones are watertight and have no holes. However, depending on the printing size, the type of printer, materials, etc., you may need to do some additional editing in a 3D Software. For example, you may need to make some parts thicker, add support sprues, split parts, etc.
Thank you!!
