AeroVironment’s Multi Pack Launcher (MPL) is an all weather remotelyoperated autonomous launch battery for standard Switchblade missileand Blackwing ISR systems.The MPL with 6 round capacity can also be vehicle or ship boardmounted for mobile operations. The launcher provides several powerchoices: solar with internal battery and shore/Tactical Vehicle power.The MPL is equipped with a 100 remote operation control cableproviding flexible application in FOB/COP Operationbunkers & buildings, Tactical Vehicles, andShip command centers.

The AeroVironment Switchblade is a miniature loitering munition, designed by AeroVironment and used by several branches of the United States military. Small enough to fit in a backpack, the Switchblade launches from a tube, flies to the target area, and crashes into its target while detonating its explosive warhead. The name switchblade comes from the way the spring-loaded wings are folded up inside a tube and flip out once released.
