This is a highly detailed 3D printable design of the front instrument panel for the MH-6J and AH-6J Little Bird helicopters. The model is accurately scaled to 1/8 and specifically optimized for FDM 3D printing.

To achieve the best results, the design is structured to be printed using a 0.2mm nozzle for the fine instrument details, while the main body and thicker walls can be printed with a standard 0.4mm nozzle.

Resin Printing (SLA/DLP)If you prefer photo-polymer resin printing, the product includes a fully assembled version of the model. You can easily use this file to hollow, orient, and add supports according to your specific resin printer setup.

Gauges & Realism FeaturesPaper Dials: The product includes a ready-to-print file with the actual instrument faces (to be printed on standard paper).Glass Lenses: The gauge bezels are designed to accommodate clear round glass/acrylic lenses with diameters of 8mm and 5mm for maximum realism.

LED Lighting & ElectronicsThe interior of the main panel body and the Multi-Function Display (MFD) housings feature hollow spaces specifically designed to accommodate LEDs for backlighting. A routing hole is provided at the bottom/side of the panel for easy wire management.

Roof / Glare Shield OptionsThe files include a standard solid plastic roof design. However, if you plan to install electronics and LEDs, I highly recommend using a piece of real fabric or thin leather for the top cover to maintain access to the wiring inside. For this purpose, I have included a special two-part roof framework design (please refer to the included instructions for details).

Assembly & Hardware RequiredThe MFD screens are engineered to be securely mounted to the main panel using M2 screws.All other components are designed to be assembled using standard model glue.
