Akorda (Akorda kaz.) - The residence of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Located on the left bank of the Ishim River in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, at the beginning of Water and Green Boulevard, three hundred meters from the monument Baiterek capital. The total building area is 36,720 m2. The official presentation of the new Republic of Kazakhstan Presidential Palace took place December 24, 2004. Next to the residence are the RK Parliament, the House of Government of the RK, RK Supreme Court, the House of Ministries of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
