The Allerton Hotel is a 361ft (110m) tall skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois that was completed in 1924. The jazz-age hotel sits with its iconic sign glowing over the city's famous Michigan Avenue. The Tip Top Tap refers to a luxurious lounge and ballroom with sweeping views of the skyline that occupied the top floor of the hotel. Today, the building is owned by Warwick Hotels.
