The designer has infused the modular sofa with the sense of well-being that he experiences when outdoors, creating a cosy refuge at home.The soft peaks of the base and back cushions overlap, just like a mountain range. The backrest nestles your head in a comfortable position; ideal for binge-watching, reading or dozing off after a walk in the countryside.A serene and simple design, not without constructive complexity due to its unique arm shapes and the soft yet thin backrests.Sancal’s extensive textile collection provides the Alpino with another layer of personalization and its slender oak legs can be lacquered in a wealth of colours.
FABRIC AND LEATHER
- Removable fabric and leather covers.
- Internal structure: F1 epoxy coated steel tubes fitted with NEA elastic webbing lined.
- Arm and back: wooden, MDF and particle board fitted structure with foam of varying densities (CMHR 30kg and CMHR 35kg) and FiberDream covered in polyester fibre and a velvet-like cover.
- Seat cushion: CMHR 35kg foam, fire-retardant me- mory foam and CMHR 30kg covered in H150g fibre with a cover.
- Back cushion: FiberDream with interior cover.
- Feet: black lacquered F1 steel and solid oak.
- Adjustable central foot: black F1 steel: Used in the sofas from 2m. lenght as well as the modules form 1,9m.
