The Altino Arantes Building (Portugese: Edifício Altino Arantes) is a 529ft (161m) tall skyscraper in São Paulo, Brazil. It is also known as the Banespa Building (Edifício do Banespa). Completed in 1947 as the headquarters of the Bank of the State of São Paulo, it was the tallest building in Brazil for 20 years and remains today a famous example of art deco architecture.
