Description

Detailed 3D model of an ancient Mediterranean looming machine. Looming machines were used extensively in Egypt and Greece, because textile creation and weaving were important tasks for most women in the civilizations of Mediterranean basin. The 3d construction is based on iconographical information from several different ancient amphora, craters, and vases and from academic resources. The models was initially modeled in Lightwave3D and then converted and tested in other popular 3d formats (fbx, obj, 3dsmax, blender).
