The B9 is based on the robot depicted in the 1965 classic, Lost in Space. B9 was originally designed for animation, but it has been remodeled and redesigned for 3D printing. The robot has been designed to be printed in parts, making it easier to print and to vary the colors used for output, reducing the need to paint every element. It has also been designed to allow for a limited amount of posing, including the ability to move the head, torso, and arms.
