It is available in several formats for a wide variety of end users. This model comes with many different liveries. It is built to be used in in-flight or airport ground animations and video or simulation. It can also be used to populate an airport scene. The model has animated rotor and tail-rotor. The cockpit is semi detailed including control yoke, cyclic, rudder pedals, seating and instrument panel and armored seat panels.
The OH-58 is part of the Bell 206 family of two blade, single or twin-engine helicopters. It was originally developed as a light observation helicopter for the US Army and designated the YOH-4. It was not selected at first, but eventually picked up by the US Army as an observation helicopter as the OH-58 Kiowa. Bell sold these light observation helicopters around the world to a wide range of military and law enforcement versions to allies. These helicopters were military versions of the commercial version of the Bell 206 Jet Ranger. Later, Bell also developed a heavily armed version with much improved technology and sensors for surveillance and scouting with electronics being added to the after passenger compartment.
