3ds Max 2016. V-Ray 5. File formats obj, fbx without fur. Black and White Cowhide Rug #A28928. The scene contains two objects: the rug and splines (hair_spline). If the fur is not to scale, in the hair and fur settings, open the tools scroll and activate Recomb From Splines and specify spline_hair, then the fur will take the correct size. If the size is correct, hair_spline can be deleted. Before rendering, go to the Rendering - Effects tab, click Hair and Fur and select mr prim mode below. If you encounter problems with fur rendering, write to me. I'll try to help you. Size: 219x210 cm. In the rug settings, the number of hairs is set to 500,000 for close-ups, for medium and far ones it can be lowered. For those with weaker computers, immediately reduce the number of hairs to 100-200 thousand and adjust the hair thickness. You can also convert it to geometry and make a proxy. System units are mm.
