The Boeing E-767 is a military AWACS aircraft, derived from the Boeing 767 and developed by Boeing in response to the specifications of the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Its first flight was in 1994, and it is considered the successor to the Boeing E-3 Sentry, being composed of the radar and air control system of this aircraft installed in a Boeing 767-200.
