This model was built very near to scale based on actual general dimensions. It is fully textured and comes with many animatable features. These include ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, and turbines. The model is provided in several different model formats and liveries.The model is built to be used in in-flight animations and video or simulation. It can also be used to populate an airport scene.

The Global Express 5000 was designed as a long range executive business jet with an extended long range and high altitude capability. The first flight was made in 1996It has a range of 6325 nm or 7080 statute miles. It has several competitors in the long range business jet market including the Boeing Business Jet, Airbus Business Jet, Dassault Flacon 7X and Gulfstream 550.
