HISTORICAL NOTE: The armored Monitor, Fluvial Monitor or Ocean Monitor Javari, was a warship of the Class Javari, ordered by Brazil to compose its Imperial Armada. His brother ship was Solimes. The monitor was built at the Forges et Chantiers de la Mditerrane shipyard in Le Havre, France arriving in Brazil in 1876.
