This restaurant design is a captivating fusion of nostalgic Old Hanoi aesthetics and creative modern architecture, centered around the iconic Leng Keng tram. The centerpiece is a stylized double-decker tram featuring a vintage seafoam green and red color palette, with the upper deck ingeniously repurposed into an open-air dining terrace.
Adjacent to the tram, a rustic structure with weathered yellow walls, traditional terracotta roof tiles, and a vintage bicycle mounted as decor evokes the soulful atmosphere of the Subsidy Period. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the patterned cement floor tiles to the classic wooden furniture and the traditional cyclo parked at the entrance. Strands of fairy lights draped overhead provide a warm, inviting glow, transforming the space into a cinematic living museum. This design successfully creates an immersive cultural experience, allowing diners to step back in time while enjoying a unique, vibrant atmosphere.
