The Scout has a welded hull made of special hardness Cadloy armor plate, capable of defeating 7.62mm armor-piercing rounds. The well-sloped front, sides, and rear of the hull provide maximum protection within the vehicle’s weight.

The front of the Scout has a steep 76° slope, from the driver’s hatch to the nose, offering both ballistic protection and the ability to navigate through underbrush.

Access to the turret or pod, located at the rear of the vehicle, is through a two-part hatch in the rear hull. The lower part folds downwards, while the top part opens to the right. The turret can be equipped with various weapons systems.

The Scout lacks an NBC system, night vision equipment, and amphibious capabilities. Optional equipment includes a siren/public address system, radio installations, weapon stowage, water and fuel cans, a slave cable, a 15.24m auxiliary cable, a camouflage net, a smoke grenade system, and a fragmentation grenade system.
