This is a cement mill department. Having a separate building for the drive and compressors. Here the clinker, gypsum & pozzolona are measured in the hopper building and is fed into the cement mill. Here it is ground and the fine material is taken to the pump tank via the air slide and bucket elevator. . While the coarse material is again fed into the mill inlet via an air slide. There are filters and a separator to take care of the fines while the coarse material is returned to the mill inlet. The fan ensures that the mill is under negative pressure and supplies sufficient air to the separator and the extra air to the chimney. A truck takes away all the rejects. There is a substation & a compressor house, adjacent. The cement is finally collected in the pump and transported to the cement silos via a transport pipe.
