L-12 COBRA II: A Medium weight Humanoid Bipod Leg Chassis developed in response to the Enforcer's success in the field. The addition of Refracted Armor Plating lends an increase in resistance against Energy-based damage, and built-in Boosters add to its mobility. It has been found that many pilots prefer the more natural feel of controlling humanoid style legs over other designs. That, and tradition make sure that such types will always be available from manufacturers.
