City in the Netherlands The Hague is a city in the west of the Netherlands, on the North Sea coast. The Gothic palace complex Binnenhof, which means Courtyard, is the seat of the Dutch parliament, and the 16th century Noordeinde palace is the official residence of the king. The city is home to the UN International Court of Justice with headquarters in the Peace Palace and the International Criminal Court.
