Cityscape Bergen Norway
Bergen is a city on the southwestern coast of Norway, surrounded by mountains and fjords. Here is the longest and deepest fjord in Norway, Sognefjord. On the old embankment there is a complex of colored wooden houses, called Bryggen. In the past, this quarter was the center of the Hanseatic trade union. A panoramic view of the city opens from Mount Fløyen. You can go up there on the Fløibanen funicular. There are also hiking trails on the mountain. Another attraction of Bergen is the house-museum of the famous composer Edvard Grieg.
