Biella is a city in Piedmont, the center of the province of the same name. Located on the Cervo River, at the foot of the Alps, approximately equidistant from Milan and Turin. The population is 46 thousand inhabitants. The city was first mentioned in the charter of Louis the Pious as Bugella
