Brunswick, Brunswick is a large city in Northern Germany in the southeast of the federal state of Lower Saxony. As of December 31, 2015, the city's population was 252,768. Braunschweig is the second largest city in Lower Saxony after HannoverPalmerston North is a city on the North Island of New Zealand. According to the 2007 census, the city's population is 78,800, making it the 8th largest city in the country in terms of urban population. The area of the city is more than 325 km².
