Cambrai is a city and commune in northern France, in the Hauts-de-France region, department of Nord, and the capital of the canton of the same name. The city is located on the Scheldt River, 52 km from Lille and 36 km from Arras. The Cambrai railway station, on the Cambrai-Douai and Busigny-Somains lines, is located in the center of the commune. The population is 32,558.
