Cannes is a resort city on the Cote d'Azur, which is famous for its international film festival. The Croisette Boulevard, which stretches along sandy beaches, is home to the most elite boutiques and palace-like hotels. Cannes is home to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, a modern building with a red carpet leading up to it. Near the Palace you can see the Avenue of Stars with handprints of celebrities.
