Klaipeda is a port city in Lithuania, located by the Baltic Sea on the Dane River. In the old town, German-style wooden-framed houses built in the 18th century have been preserved. The main attraction of the city is the Theater Square with the neoclassical building of the Drama Theatre. The sculpture Anike from Torava was erected in 1912 in memory of the local poet. The 19th century coastal fort houses the Lithuanian Maritime Museum and the Dolphinarium
