Lugano is a Swiss city in the Italian-speaking region of Ticino. For centuries, the architecture and cuisine of the region has been greatly influenced by the traditions of Lombardy - the northern region of Italy, bordering Ticino. Lugano is located on the northern shore of the glacial lake of the same name and is surrounded by picturesque mountains. On the main square of the city - Reform Square - there are neoclassical palaces, the facades of which are made in pastel colors.
