Okayama is a city designated by Japanese government decree, located in the southwest of the island of Honshu. The administrative center of the prefecture of the same name. A port city where the Asahi River flows into Kojima Bay. The area of the city is 789.92 km², the population is 714,128 people, the population density is 904.05 people/km².
