The city is known for its parks, bridges, and bike paths. It also has the distinction of being environmentally friendly. Many small breweries and cozy coffee shops can be found here. The famous Washington Park is home to the Japanese Garden and the Oregon Zoo and even has its own railroad. The city hosts many music and theater events.
