Potsdam is a city in Germany near Berlin. It is primarily known for the Sans Souci Park, where the main attractions are located. The Sanssouci Palace at one time served as the summer residence of the Prussian king Frederick the Great. The complex's Renaissance Orangery Palace overlooks Italian-style gardens and fountains. English gardens with a windmill surround the neoclassical Charlottenhof Palace. The park also features 19th-century Roman baths built in a variety of architectural styles.
