Cityscape Pula Croatia
Pula is a city on the tip of the Croatian peninsula of Istria, famous for its sheltered harbor, beaches on the Adriatic coast and ancient Roman architectural monuments. The city was founded in the prehistoric era and was of great strategic importance, so it was captured, destroyed and rebuilt several times. Pula was owned by the Romans, Ostrogoths and Venetians, and after the Second World War it was for some time ruled by the Allied military government of the occupied territories.
