Sallanches is a commune in the French department of Haute-Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Administratively, it is part of the canton of Sallanches in the prefecture of Bonneville. It has hosted the UCI Road World Championships twice: from 3 to 6 September 1964 and on 30 August 1980
