Salt Lake City is the capital of the American state of Utah. The city is located on a hill and is surrounded by the waters of the Great Salt Lake and the snow-capped peaks of the Wasatch Mountain Range. The famous Temple Square complex is located in the city center. It occupies 40,000 sq. m and belongs to the Mormon Church. It is home to the majestic 19th-century Salt Lake Temple, the neo-Gothic Assembly Hall, and the famous Tabernacle, under whose dome the renowned Mormon Choir performs.
