Tuson is a city in the Sonoran Desert in the US state of Arizona, surrounded by several mountain ranges, including Santa Catalina. Restored 19th-century mansions in the El Presidio Historic District and lined adobe houses in the Barrio Historico district remind of the city's past. Fourth Avenue, near the University of Arizona, is full of retro shops, nightclubs and restaurants.
