Wolfsburg is a district city in Germany, in the state of Lower Saxony. Together with the cities of Braunschweig and Salzgitter, it forms one of the nine high-level centers of the state of Lower Saxony. In addition, the city is part of the Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg metropolitan area.
