This Classic Sports Car 3D model is Inspired by model types that were popular in the third quarter of the last century. Mainly from Europe and Japan. These models' styling usually favoured the heavy use of bright chrome as an embellishment on high profile parts of the car. The mirrors ,front grille or bumpers, door handles and other trim pieces were all fair game for chrome. This is primarily cromium coated steel which gives a highly polished and mirror smooth finish as well as protection against corrosion. It may be realised that the use of low profile radial tires, even on sportscars, was not as common place then, as it is nowadays. The exterior of this model is detailed while the interior is simply modelled to help cap the poly count. It is set on the World Origin 0,0,0 xvz axis. The model comes with twelve objects mainly to facilitate easier texturing and any rigging that maybe further required. To make it easier for animation the wheels are grouped as a separate object. The modelling is polygon based so it is easily sub dividable (smoothable). The color of the downloaded model may vary slightly from the previewed images. Please note that the files do not include the enviroment eg camera or lighting or any background displayed in the preview images The dimensions of the car are are height 1355 mm, length 3900 mm and width 1570 mm. It is scaled to real world measurements that approximate similar sized cars. It was modelled using Blender 2.91 and rendered with Cycles X. Texture files are PBR Metallic/ Roughness workflow with Diffuse/ Base Color, Roughness, Metallic,Transmission, Glossy and Normal maps. The texture map sizes are 2048 x 2048. The textures maps are all presented in JPG format.
