The TR3D HF Frame was designed by me as a means to frame all my HueForge prints. The concept was to have a customizable size, including depth and text for each print. You can customize your frame for each print by editing the parameters in OpenScad.org software (free). The parameters are width, height, depth (2.24mm by default) and the text properties, including font type and size. I print each frame successfully with the following slicer options on a 220mm bed or larger (Ender3's have 220x220 beds):
Slicer recommendations:
- Rotate to a 45 degree angle on the bed for a better fit.
- 10% infil
- 0.2mm layer height
- supports on build plate only
- organic supports or grid supports. (grid supports are easier to remove)
- detect bridging (for top of frame window)
Lightbox version for lithographics coming soon. Not a commercial license.
*Requires the OpenScad software to customize. You can download free from openscad.org or just use one of the standard stl sizes included.
