There are many Cementery related 3D models based on the traditional Celtic celebration of Halloween. So I decided to make one based on the Day of the Dead celebration.
This is an amalgam of Graveyards found all around Mexico. Tombs are often adorned with Cempasuchil flowers and petals. Which were seen as a representation of the Sun by our ancestors, so they believed they would serve as a guide for the spirits who came from the other side.
- White Flowers represent purity and innocence and are used for children.
- Pink crosses are used for deceased women.
- Candles represent Faith and Hope and also serve as beacons for the dead.
- Low Poly
- 2K PNG and TIFF textures with Alpha transparency information.
- Metalness Maps included.
- Tris and QuadsThe Blender file comes with an editable version of the Terrain texture. Since that's the most affected texture after the baking process. Use that if you think the terrain look too low-res. I used a mask to create the texture, the black channel is for Dirt and the white channel is for Grass.Non-Blender users, please don't hesitate to contact me if you run into any issues or questions regarding the model. I can convert to other formats like Collada DAE, etc.
Thank you!.
