This is the second version of the fully-functional mechanical countdown timer meant for board games.Now with an extra gear stage to count up to 4 minutes!It's fully 3D printed, except for the axles, which can be salvaged from an old inkjet printer, a handful of screws and some coins or washers for weight.The machine features a print-in-place ratchet mechanism to load the weight arm in increments of 1 minute. The energy is transferred to the deadbeat escapement wheel via a gear train.It includes a comprehensive 23-page building guide with lots of pictures!
