This is my Mechaman Model inspired by Robert Robertsons Mark II Suit featured in Dispatch.
With working Gun and Sheild.
Feel free to use this in whatever project you want (but please credit me as Shiney FX)
Practical Notes:MAYA:If you are using my Maya File, there already is a character control rig using Human IK, however there are some extra bones included designed to add more flexibility to animation. In the Maya File there is a GUN_SHEILD_CONTROL_LOCATOR you can use with a custom attribute to control the gun and sheild animation. You will need to localise the textures using Windows-->General Editors-->File Path Editor-->Repath Files and its all done in a click
Other software:The texture files use an industry standard UDIM workflow (Basically extends texture resolutions by breaking them down into smaller files) BUT DON'T WORRY! Most software do support UDIMS. Including Blender. Google [Insert Software] Udim Tutorial and you'll be good to go within a few clicksIf you're not using my Maya File, you will have to recreate the cellshader style shaders (but the texures are in the files so you shouldn't have any issues)This model is reliant on in render affects for outlinesIn maya I have rigged the Sheild and Gun using ways which you will likley have to recreate if you're not using Maya The Shield animation might not import correctly outside of Maya (I've only tested this inside of marmoset toolbag)If the model is black when you import it, that is fine, Maya sets colour value to 0 when a texture is attached and even with that texture detached the value is the same don't worry, theres no issue.
Any other issues feel free to contact me
