Description

Douglas B-18 Bolo was built near to scale of actual general dimensions and fully textured. It comes with animateable propellers, ailerons, elevators, flaps and rudder. The landing gear can be retracted or extended. This model is available in different formats.

The Douglas B-18 Bolo medium bomber served with the United States Army Air Corps and the Royal Canadian Air Force. It was based on their commercial DC-2. B-18A comes with more powerful Wright R-1820-53 engines and moved bombardier's station, 217 were built.

Produced from the mid 1930s it saw service in World War II. Several versions of this aircraft were built and each one had a different nose section. Most of the B-18s that survived were used as bombardier and gunner trainers in the US during WWII. Some were loaned to Russia, Australia and sent to the British.
