Description

The Eastern Columbia Building is a roughly 260ft (80m) tall skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It was designed by architect Claud Beelman for the Eastern-Columbia Department Store, opening in 1930. Constructed using a brilliant turquoise terra cotta with golden accents, the building became an instant landmark in the city's downtown. Its brightly lit clock and EASTERN sign atop the building, wonderfully decorated entrance, and lush art deco massing and details make it one of Los Angeles's most cherished and famous pieces of architecture.

Because the letters at the top of the building are relatively thin, they may not print properly at smaller scales. As a result, included is an additional STL file in which the letters have been widened so they may remain legible (EasternColumbiaWideLetters.stl).
