FS Locomotive E656-023 Rigged – REAL SCALE
A low-poly 3D model of the Italian famous FS Locomotive E656-023 (Caimano)
The project includes:
1. The Locomotive E656-023 as shown in the pictures
2. The railway track and the catenary. Both are in a separate clone-object. This will allow you to easily adjust the length of the rail and the catenary.
3. Scene Objects: Sky, ground, lights...
Features:
• The 3D models' scale is 1 : 1 with units of centimeters.
• The geometry used in this project is mainly Quads and Tris, but in some cases N-Gons are also
used.
• The 3D models (Loco, railway Track and catenary) are fully textured with all materials applied.
• All materials and textures are properly named.
• With exception of some textures, almost the materials are procedural.
• The locomotive is XPresso Rigged: Wheels turn by moving the locomotive along the z-axis and the pantographs can be both adjusted (up or down) using the XPresso slider applied to the nulls
“Pantograph_Front” and “Pantograph_Rear”.
• The locomotive is not suitable for subdivisions and does not have interior modeling.
• The project is suitable for close up renderings.
• Polygons count of the Locomotive alone: Polys: 78,034 – Vertex: 77,692
• Rendering: The pictures have been rendered with Global Illumination and Ambient Occlusion.
• Easy to use; clean hierarchy in the object manager.
