Description

Low-poly historical reconstruction of a small early medieval water mill. The milling mechanism is housed within a small wooden building with shingle roof. The building's gable ends are closed with wattle to allow light to enter the inside. The mill is powered by an undershot water wheel, which means that its bottom is positioned in a body of (usually channeled) flowing water.

The file includes:

  • SCENE NOT INCLUDED
  • Wooden building with openable / separated doors, so it can be entered by players.
  • Additional roof for the water wheel.
  • Complete and functioning milling mechanism with water wheel and all frames. NO ANIMATION included, but can easily be added as the mechanism basically is just two rotating parts.
  • Millstones (top and bottom version)
  • Infeed funnel on ropes to let it swing a bit to allow the grain to slowly flow between the mill stones.
  • Grain layer to make the funnel look filled.
